Research On Public Knowledge Management In Virtual Learning Communities

With the rapid progress in the development of information technology,all kinds of information changes.It covers the learning and development of people which likes network.More and more people also used to convenience which network technology brings.It also brings the huge impact to the traditional way of life and learning.In the process of learning,“teaching and learning” mode between educators and learners has changed.Virtual learning community that based on network technology is a good place of communication,which is also an ideal place supporting learning.It removes the barriers to entry,each community members can release information.But every coin has two sides,the information that can be easy to release characteristics can easily bring information overloading to virtual learning community knowledge.In this paper,in order to making the operation and development of the virtual learning community healthily,better learning experience for members of the community,public knowledge of the virtual learning community can be acquired,integration,internalization and application as well,the knowledge classification thought,theory of knowledge transformation,knowledge sharing theory and technology and other related theoretical research which be contained in the "knowledge management" and "public knowledge management” of the domestic and foreign have been drew into into the public knowledge management of virtual learning community research.Building model,modified model,finally the optimal model was concluded.At the end of paper,the strategies which was in favor of virtual learning community public knowledge management are presented,which make learners can use of knowledge maximally,promote knowledge innovation.This paper was divided into six parts as follows,Firstly,it analyzed the research background,and described the domestic and overseas status of “virtual learning community” and “public knowledge management” research,found the existing problems,put forward the research train of thought.Secondly,according to the reference literature combed the concept and characteristics of“virtual learning community”,“common knowledge”,“public knowledge management”,theoretical basis of the virtual learning community public knowledge management,which mainly includes the constructivism learning theory and knowledge management model of SECI.Thirdly,according to research of scholars,the influence factors of the virtual learning community is mainly five dimensions including “learner factor”,“teachers factor”,“knowledge factor”,“technology factor”,“community environment factor”.Public knowledge managementcan be divided into four processes including “public knowledge acquisition”,“public knowledge arrangement”,“public knowledge internalization” and “public knowledge innovation”.On the basis of the impact of these factors on the management process,this paper built the initial model about he process of public knowledge management in virtual learning community.Fourthly,an empirical analysis of public knowledge management model in the virtual learning community.First 16 hypothesis was put forward,and using SPSS to do the overall analysis of the reliability and validity.And then did the correlation analysis between dimensions.Makes a preliminary analysis that the hypothesis are correct or not.Then using the AMOS do the preliminary model fitting.According to the revised model,it removed two rejected assumption,eventually the final model got.The fifth part put forward to strategy effectively which is based on the model from public knowledge acquisition,sorting,internalization,application innovation in order to promoting the management of public knowledge in virtual learning community.The sixth part has carried on the summary and outlook.
