The Design And Implementation Of Virtual Learning Community Based On Personal Knowledge Management

As information technology and the rapid development of network technology, educational philosophy and learning also will be changed a lot. Learning is not confined to the classroom, learners access to the network is increasingly becoming an important channel of information and knowledge, while a wide variety of online learning community to become an important place for learning. How to build a network environment conducive to learners of virtual learning communities have become very important.In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of literature research method for nearly a decade (2001 - 2009) to the major domestic journals and the "virtual learning community", "personal knowledge management" theme-related literature, to grasp the current focus of the study, the focus and the current principal point of view. In this study, constructivism, distributed cognition, Situated Cognition and Situated Learning Theory as the guide, combined with personal knowledge management theory and the basic model, for the current virtual learning communities in knowledge management, common problems, designed and developed based on personal knowledge management platform for virtual learning communities, learning environment designed to increase student awareness of personal knowledge management, knowledge management to achieve individual students.Paper is divided into six chapters, first introduced the Virtual Learning Community Research, defines the core text of the concept for the Virtual Learning Community theoretical basis. Next, based on personal knowledge management, virtual learning communities constitute the basic elements of the community and module design, community members, incentives and community design principles. Finally, based on a preliminary design of virtual learning communities of practice developed based on personal knowledge management platform for virtual learning communities, and preliminary application of research basically achieved the desired results.
