College Student Loyalty Cultivation Research

The excellent traditional culture has shaped the spiritual character of the Chinese nationl in ceaseless self-improvement,vigorous and ambitious manner,integrity and neutrality,and fed the healthy and noble moral disposition and moral demeanor.As an important category of ethics of the Chinese traditional culture,loyalty embodies the extensive cultural thoughts and wisdom of the ancient people and the important ethics of the Confucians in cultivating the mind,governing the country and managing the state affairs.It had played important and far-reaching roles in the traditional society and guided the Chinese people with high ideals one generation after another to devote themselves to the public duties,serve the country with public loyalty and even sacrifice their lives for the public interests.In the new era which emphasizes both the development of the socialist market economy and strengthening of China model cultural and ideological progress,we should inherit the traditional ideas of loyalty in a critical way,and try to achieve the creative transformation and innovation development of the traditional ideas of loyalty.The active and effective promotion of the ideas of loyalty among college students in the higher learning institutions will enrich the traditional essentials of ideological and political education for college students,improve the initiative of the students to inherit and pass on the traditional culture and enhance the national confidence for college students to foster and practice the core socialist values.At the same time,the promotion of the ideas will play a driving role in enhancing the awareness of social responsibility of the college students and forming the good morality of the society.This article makes beneficial exploration into the research on loyalty education in the ideological and political education for college students from the angle of ideological and political education of higher learning institutions against the realistic background of state-supported learning and inheriting of excellent Chinese traditional culture at this stage of development.Specifically,this article starts from the analysis of current connotation of loyalty,and carries out the rational interpretation on the changes over time,historical limitations and modern transformation of the traditional loyalty concepts respectively.On this basis,the article fully explores into the compatibility of loyalty cultivation in the higher learning institutions with the modern ideological and political education for college students,and goes further to expoundOn the important significance of loyalty cultivation in improving the moral characters of the college students,fostering their loyalty,improving their professionalism and enhance their patriotic sentiments;and by exploring into the various opportunities and challenges in the promotion of loyalty education for college students,this article conducts in-depth exploration into the existing problems;and this article finally explores into the effective routes to promote loyalty education for college students from the four aspects as the principles to be followed,specific contents of the cultivation,approaches to be adopted and the optimization of the environment during the cultivation education for college students.
