As the key point in middle school chemistry study,"Amount of substance" is also a difficult point in chemistry teaching.It is an abstract and microscopic concept.However,students who have just entered into high school are accustomed to thinking from a macro point of view,which makes it very difficult for them to understand its essential concept.This article takes the "conceptual change" teaching strategy as the theoretical basis of research to carries out the teaching design of "amount of substance",through the research and practice to explore the feasibility and effectivity of conceptual change teaching strategies in the "amount of substance" teaching course,and provide teaching advice according to the practice.Hopefully,teachers can solve the existing problem in teaching "amount of substance" and improve the teaching effect.
