With the development of the whole world,the international exchange and communication of education and academic has become increasingly frequent and popular.As human beings in the world,in order to strengthen the international-mutual understanding,cooperation and competition in an era of constant change,the qualities of opening view,equal attitude and mind open are very essentially required.he internationalization of education is aimed to satisfy the international development as well as to meet the future trend of education.Nevertheless,under the dominant tendency of educational internationalization,holding academic activities,with the core concept of "The Education of International Understanding",is one of the most direct and effective methods to bring the "Educational Internationalization:real to life in school.It's been 34 years since Deng Xiaoping mentioned the concept of"international understanding education" at the first time in 1983.The supporting laws and rules have been developed from ZERO to ONE and now,there are more and more educational experts and elementary schools in this field,however,we can only find 226 study papers regarding this topic on the Chinese academic paper website,which is like a drop in the ocean compared with boundless educational source.On the other hand,in term of other countries,no matter in the west or east,such as America,Singapore,their studies in the field of international education and its practice are far more advanced than ours.Especially Japan,with highest level of educational internationalization development among all the countries and areas in East Asia,has over half a century history in the study of "The Education of International Understanding"since the early 1960s.In comparison of China,with a rather late start,its comparatively mature in policy&protection,institution establishment,curriculum design can be valuable references for advancing the education of international understanding in China in the future.In order to have a further study of this field,me as the author of this paper have been to Japan and conducted my one-and-a-half-year study in the elementary schools governed by Kanagawa,Japan.Based on the study of the background analysis,history of development,system construction and curriculum design of the international education in Japan,I analyzed its status in quo.Focusing on the case study conducted in the elementary schools governed by Kanagawa,Japan,I analyzed in depth one by one from systems to factors,from part to whole,and from features to peculiarities,all through the course objects,methods of education and implementation.In comparison to China,what limits our international education development and the three key problem left to be resolved in the future have emerged from the water.The author started from such problems and found the development strategies in terms of "optimizing the curriculum system of internationally understanding education","innovation of course system design" and "improving teachers' quality of international education".No matter it's study in status in quo,individual case,or clear developing strategy,the object to write this paper aims to catch more attention and arise more professional studies for our country's future international education.In the meantime,in practical,it aims to provide more practical implementation methods for schools in our country regarding the educational internationalization.In theory,it aims to provide more paper resource for our country's study in educational internationalization.
