Research On The Status Quo And Influencing Factors Of Decent Work For Physical Education Teachers In Shanghai Middle Schools

Decent Work was the International Labor Organization put forward for the first time in 1999,the 87 th International Labor Conference.It protected the basic rights of working people throughout the country in a free?fair?security and dignified condition.Physical Education(PE)teacher is the special group of teachers,whether it meet the requirements of decent work was the main target of our current investigation.It is a important indicator of development of physical education in Shanghai area with other cities.Therefore,studying of decent labor standards of Shanghai middle school PE teachers,has a certain reference significance for the physical education teachers groups.This investigation mainly divided into two parts.On the base of analysis of Middle school PE teachers Decent Work properties,using the existing questionnaire designed scale which included five dimensions,a total of 40 item for measuring the Decent Work,and then researched on Decent Work status of PE teachers in middle schools in Shanghai.The other part was compared the other different subject teachers with PE teachers by investigating the Decent Work current situation of them.This paper also contained correlation analysis of the object's age,job title and working years.Research results:1?Shanghai middle school PE teachers Decent Work included five dimensions:labor security?income guarantee?job security?reproduction skills and representation assurance.Shanghai decent labor standards of PE teachers in middle schools generally low,compared with other subject teachers was not optimistic.2?Shanghai middle school PE teachers in the dimension of labor security ?income guarantee?representation assurance were all got low scores,it showed that PE teachers' individual psychological pressure and burden of teaching were too large.Although the PE teachers and other teachers had achieved the "equal pay for equal work",the reward mechanism was not perfect,and the emphasis was on the low side of the school.3?Shanghai middle school PE teachers on job security and reproduction skills dimension scored ideal,it showed that job security relatively stable,PE teachers' professional skills can be updated in a timely manner.4.there is no significant difference in the overall level of physical education teachers of different gender in Shanghai middle school,but female sports teachers have significantly lower than male physical education teachers.That is,female sports teachers are not the male sports teachers in the work pressure and psychological ability.5.compared with other disciplines,the results show that there are obvious differences between middle school sports teachers and Chinese teachers and music teachers in Shanghai.6.the physical education teachers in public schools have a slight advantage in the job security dimension.However,in the overall level of decent work,the physical education teachers in public schools and the physical education teachers in private schools have no obvious difference.7?Respondents active advice behavior,emphasis on employees' opinions,the rationality and equity of the income,work stress,work environment,work difficulty,etc were the main factors of middle school PE teachers in Shanghai Decent Work standards.
