Decent Work In The Eyes Of University Students:Status And Influencing Factors

The concept of the most glorious work,the noblest work,the greatest work,and the most beautiful work is advocated today and we should accept the idea that there is no distinction between careers,and that any work is equal.At the same time,“decent work” is increasingly being c oncerned,but it is related to the fact that some workers' working conditions have not yet been achieved decently.What about decent work in the eyes of university students? What are the factors that affect the decent work in the eyes of university students? These are worth our discussion.In recent years,there have been more and more studies on decent work by domestic scholars,and they have also become more and more in-depth.From the initial researches on decent work measures,to the subsequent studies on the correlation between decent work and other factors,the study perspective has gradually broadened.However,the previous research groups were mainly concentrated on employees,and there were fewer university students in the study;measurement indicators were not comprehensive enough;the influencing factors were generally demographic factors,and few involved values.Therefore,this study will focus on these aspects,and the decent work status and influencing factors in the eyes of university students is studied through questionnaire survey.877 questionnaires are effectively recovered,and SPSS19.0 and AMOS21.0 are used for analysis.Through data analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The dimensions of decent work in this study are divided into six dimensions : decent wages,decent employment protection,decent work atmosphere,decent sense of work intensity,decent participation in democratic participation and career development,and decent sense of social status and well-being.2.In the eyes of university students,whether they are on the overall decent work factors,or on the elements of the specific dimensions of decent wages,decent employment protection,decent work atmosphere,decent sense of work intensity,decent participation in democratic participation and career development,decent sense of social status and well-being,these elements are important for judging whether a job is decent or not.Among them,the most important score is the decent sense of wage income,followed by the decent sense of social status and well-being,and the lowest score is the decent sense of work intensity.3.Decent work in the eyes of university students is related to many factors.In addition to demographic factors such as gender,grade,major,political outlook,family social class perception,and satisfaction with family economic conditions,which will have an impact on decent work in the eyes of university students,values or psychosocial factors such as the concept of employment,the concept of lifestyle,life values,and the values that references to ordinary people's life also have an impact on decent work in the eyes of university students.Moreover,the influence of the latter exceeds the influence of the former.Finally,we compare and discuss with previous research findings and get some inspiration.
