The independent college is a new growth point and an important part of China's higher education,and it has made outstanding contributions to the development of our private higher education.However,due to the impact of college expansion policies and the new economic normal,The independent college started late,with a weak foundation,insufficient brand building,and low social recognition,which makes the independent colleges have a large gap with ordinary public undergraduates in terms of both the number and quality of employment,and faces more serious employment challenges.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that “employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates should be placed in an important position,and multi-channels should be adopted to promote the employment and entrepreneurship of young people such as college graduates,so as to achieve higher quality and fuller employment,and strive to achieve decent work and comprehensive development.It is very meaningful to study and improve the employment quality of independent college students.Through literature analysis,this paper sorts out the concepts of decent work,college students employment quality of independent colleges and their relationships.Based on this theory and expert interviews,Then use AHP to develop an employment quality assessment index system for independent college students,and draw up an employment quality score sheet.According to the index system,a questionnaire on employment quality was prepared,and employment quality surveys were conducted on graduates of 4 independent colleges in Jiangsu Province in 2016-2019.Through data analysis,it was found that the employment quality of graduates of independent colleges in Jiangsu Province has been poor in recent years,and there is a decent work deficit,including employment deficits,rights deficits,social protection deficits and social dialogue deficits.Then through a questionnaire survey,using factor analysis and multiple regression analysis to analyze the factors that affect the quality of employment,it is found that external factors,college students' hard power,soft power,and individual characteristics significantly affect the employment quality.Finally,from the four levels of government,enterprises,universities,and college students,give countermeasures and suggestions to promote decent employment of college students in independent colleges.The government level should improve employment laws and regulations and related policies,regulate the job market,and strengthen service in the job market;the enterprise level should adopt a scientific employment view and further advance school-enterprise cooperation;the school level should innovate talent training mechanisms and strengthen employment service systems;establish a correct concept of job selection and improve the overall quality of individuals.The paper has 20 pictures,35 tables,and 95 references...
