| “NIE”,the abbreviation of “Newspaper In Education”,refers to that newspaper is used as teaching materials in classes to help carry out teaching activitiesin in order to achieve the corresponding teaching objectives.Newspaper contains a wealth of teaching resources.It can not only supplement the lack of content of textbooks,but also narrow the distance between classroom teaching and the real life.Practice has proved that the implementation of NIE in Education can effectively promote not only the development of various disciplines and the quality of teaching,but also the comprehensive development of students’ reading ability,media literacy,core competencies and other comprehensive qualities in the process of learning.NIE originated in the United States in 1930 s.At first it aimed to improve the reading situation of teenagers,then it was developed as a way of lifelong education.NIE achieved some success in the United States and gradually extended to the whole world.Now there are more than 80 countries in the world to carry out NIE,but the research and practice of NIE in our country is not enough.Japan is the first Asian country to carry out the NIE systematically.In 1989,the press and education circles jointly carry out NIE.Students are expected to cultivate the habits of being close to character and reading newspaper,to improve the enthusiasm attitudes toward the world dynamic and social politics,and to become teenagers who have critical spirits and citizen consciousness.Japanese NIE conforms to the the trend of era development and Japanese curriculum reform.The development has been relatively mature.NIE is widely used in the national language,society and integrated practical courses in Japanese middle and primary schools,where the teaching method has certain characteristics.China and Japan are facing with the similar background of the times and curriculum reform.It is of great significance to learn from Japanese advanced educational experience.The main purpose of this paper is to forecast the significance and the ways of developing NIE in Chinese education by exploring the curriculum system of NIE in Japanese middle and primary school and its implementation characteristics in disciplinary education.The structure of this paper is as follows: the first chapter is the research origin,introducing the research motivation and background,the research purposes and methods,and the literature review which helps to understand the research status of NIE at home and abroad.The second chapter is the status of NIE in Japanese curriculum reform,including the definition,development process and functions of NIE,the relationship between the project of Japanese education reform and NIE,as well as the curriculum objectives,curriculum design,teaching methods and curriculum evaluation of NIE under the framework of Japanese curriculum reform.The third chapter is the teaching implementation analysis of NIE in the disciplinary education of Japanese middle and primary schools,including the implementation status of NIE in the national language,society,integrated practical courses,and the analysis of the teaching cases.The fourth chapter is the implementation prospect of NIE in our country,discussing the significance and the ways of implementing NIE in our country,analyzing and forecasting the development prospect of NIE in our country. |
