Huaian city located in north Central of Jiangsu province,and the east of the Jianghuai plain,and the intersection between ancient Huaihe and the Grande Canale.It was one of the cradles of the ancient culture of Yangtze River Valley.Because it was an important central city in northern Jiangsu with rich historical culture and it was closely surrounded by Nanjing metropolitan,its educational status became an increasing concern.After the issuing of “music curriculum standards for full time compulsory education” of China in 2011,city Board of education had also given great attention to music education.The state had raised higher requirements for music education,so Huaian departments also actively cooperated to launch the work which was beneficial to the junior high school music education in Huaian city.Then the changes on teaching content,organization form of teaching,teaching method,teaching means and other aspects were surprised.Teacher-student interaction and equal participation could be seen in class,and teachers were not the main body anymore.While there were problems in some aspects,such as capital investment and professional quality of teachers,which seriously hindered the higher-level development of junior high school music teaching in Huaian.We should attach great importance to those problems.This paper launched questionnaire survey in 17 middle schools through sampling survey method,questionnaire method,conversation method,statistics and analysis method,comparative study method and other methods based on the geographical location,history and culture,the development of music education in Huaian.It investigated and analyzed the present situation of junior high school music teaching in Huaian respectively from the perspective of junior high school students and music teachers.Aiming at the problems existing in the investigation,it raised its own views and the corresponding countermeasures or suggestions after the further research and analysis on music education,which mainly reflected in four aspects: music teachers,school,classroom teaching,and the development of local curriculum resources.Then it drew its own experience and inspiration combining with its investigation and the daily accumulation. |
