Ation in Shandong Anti-Japanese base areas and the liberated areas was gradually developed based on reconstruction of traditional education in the struggle for national liberation and democratic development in the harsh environment.On the whole,the development of education The educin this period has gone through three stages: from national defense education to the full implementation of the new democratic education and then to the general education reform.Secondary education,in particular,has played a positive role in the modernization of Chinese education.To understand the process of modernization of Chinese education,it is necessary to study the history of modern secondary education in different regions.Due to the unique cultural tradition of Shandong,the secondary education in this area before the war has a certain basis and the brutality of the war is particularly fierce,so the development of education in Shandong base and liberated areas has shown many different characteristics from other areas.It is of great significance to study the development of secondary education in Shandong base and liberated areas.The paper systematically examines the secondary education in Shandong base area and the liberated areas.First of all,starting from the background,it briefly introduces the pre-war(1928-1937)secondary education development in Shandong area,and analyses from its educational system,educational measures,teaching effectiveness,education and other aspects.Secondly,it briefly introduces the background and organization of the secondary education in the base of Shandong during the Anti-Japanese War,and makes an in-depth analysis of the implementation institutions at that time combining with the cruel war background and the particularity of education.Thirdly,secondaryeducation in Shandong base areas and liberated areas includes: General secondary education,normal education,vocational education,so it makes in-depth research and analysis of these types of schools from foundation situation,aspects of education policies,teaching content,faculty and educational effects.Finally,the author compares the secondary education of Shandong base area and liberated area with the secondary education of other base areas and the liberated areas,and sums up the reform trend,educational characteristics and pros and cons of secondary education in these two periods.It mainly focuses on the enlightenment and reference for contemporary education.The secondary education of Shandong base and liberated areas had gone through the transition from national defense education to general education.This paper tries to analyze the secondary education laws and regulations formulated by the educational institutions in this historical period,so as academically research on the school system,teaching effect,teachers' problems and educational expenses of the secondary education system in Shandong during the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation.It concludes by combining the pros and cons of typical cases,and then tries to restore the original appearance of Shandong secondary education in these two special periods.
