| Assignment has never been a "small problems" in the field of education.The value of assignment should be no doubt.It not only helps students review knowledge and improve transference ability,but also helps teachers understand students’ mastering situation,reasonably adjust the follow-up teaching plan.In teaching practice,however,because of improper design of assignment,or unreasonable assignment implement in the process,either assignment′s quantity or assignment′s quality,is satisfactory.Teachers and students are worn out under a lot of simple and repetitive work,but the teaching effect has not been improved.This kind of phenomenon deviated from the starting point of education,distorted the value and role of the assignment,is worthy of thinking and researching.In students’ learning,mathematics is a concise and efficient discipline,mathematics education has been centring on how to effectively teach,improve students’ mathematical thinking quickly.However,inefficient or invalid math assignment in the teacher’s teaching are not uncommon.How to improve the embarrassed condition of math assignment,optimize the quality and quantity of maths assignment and fundamentally lighten the burden of teachers and students,is an urgent problem to be solved.The survey including 330 high grade pupils and 64 techers found that their math assignment is not optimistic.In order to further explore math assignment in high-grade of primary school,a case was chosen randomly in the investigation of the school,tracking and analysing assignment.Problems and deficiencies in math assignment was revealed according analysis in assignment number,difficulty,types,and evaluation.After understanding the status and existing problems of senior maths assignment,A conclusion is given as follows.Although the curriculum reform has a long history,the field of assignment is still faced with many problems.Mainly displays in: the teachers don′t attach importance to seatwork,so students cannot consolidate and assimilate knowledge in the classroom;Homework that is lacked of screening and reprocessing by teachers is so enough that student’s work can′t get high quality.Homework one-size-fits-all phenomenon is outstanding,unable to meet the demand of different levels of students.Single job types,teachers arrange more mechanical and repetitive written assignment,lack of hands-on practice and explorat-ory work,leading to students’ lack of interest.On homework evaluation,teachers correct and teach assignments by themselves,but student participation is not enough,leading to poor feedback.The reasons are given from the teachers’ education concept,teachers’ teaching ability,education evaluation way,school management and social influence.Finally,according to the result of the status and the investigation and experiment,in order to optimize the senior primary school maths homework,effectively reduce the burden of teachers and students,teachers should fully realize the homework is not only the means of consolidating knowledge,digestion of knowledge,but also the way to improve students’ social practice ability and develop students’ innovative spirit.On the specific job design,teachers should reasonably adjust the proportion of seatwork and homework,attach importance to the quality of the homework,design difficulty levels,different types of operations to meet the needs of students’ physical and mental development.In evaluation,teachers should fully stimulate students’ participation,various ways of assignment correcting,which provide an opportunity to learn from other’s strong points to make up one’s deficiencies. |
