Interdisciplinary teaching refers to a teaching process,which through choosing a central topic from a chosen center subject,then around the central topic,using different disciplines of knowledge,to design the common topic of processing.Interdisciplinary teaching has been very mature in the United States and Germany.The two countries have some common grounds in the interdisciplinary teaching:firstly,they both try their best to shape students' abilities and values.Regardless of the United States or Germany,the important mission of interdisciplinary teaching is to develop students' abilities and value.Of course,in the United States,this area is relatively weak.Secondly,they both respect students' independence and individual personality.Thirdly,there are some relevant national policy supports,and there is a team of teachers committed to interdisciplinary teaching practice.In both countries,interdisciplinary teaching has risen to the level of national will,as an important component of the national education reform;in addition there are many schools and teachers committing to interdisciplinary teaching practice.Fourthly,they both emphasize the connection of teaching and real life.In both countries,the important purpose of interdisciplinary teaching is to develop students' ability of using knowledge,the training of this ability to focus more on the solution to the problems in the realization of life.Fifthly,they both focus on the emphasis on integrated teaching research and personnel training.Interdisciplinary teaching can be categorized as follows:first,interdisciplinary teaching can be divided into single interdisciplinary teaching and compound interdisciplinary teaching,depending on whether the primary teaching goal is single or compound.If the main teaching objectives of interdisciplinary teaching is set as a single goal,it is called single interdisciplinary teaching.If the teaching objective of interdisciplinary teaching is set to multiple goals,it is called compound interdisciplinary teaching.Second,interdisciplinary teaching can be divided into independent interdisciplinary and subject-based interdisciplinary teaching,depending on whether the interdisciplinary courses are initiated separately.In the interdisciplinary teaching of high school Political science,we can see that in high school Political Science and Geography,History and many other courses can form a single cross-school teaching.High school Political Science can also meet the interdisciplinary teaching through project learning.Interdisciplinary teaching of the high school Political Science is very important.The first is the extensiveness in practical application.The second is the diversity of teaching objectives.The third is the flexibility of teaching organization form.The fourth is the expansion of extra-curricular knowledge.The fifth is the operational capacity of capacity-building.Of course,there are many difficulties in high school Political Science teaching at this stage:first is the influence of the Current College Entrance Examination System;second is the influence from teachers;thirdly is the influence of social recognition degree and parental acceptance;fourthly is the influence from students.We can seek a breakthrough from the change of the training model of the ideological and political education professionals and the change of high school teacher evaluation mechanism.At the same time,interdisciplinary teaching should be restricted in the political teaching in high school.The limitations are as follows:firstly,referring to the interdisciplinary teaching of high school,when multi-disciplinary teaching with project-based learning is difficult to implement universally,we can start with a single interdisciplinary teaching.Second,if we want to implement the Interdisciplinary teaching in high school commonly,the time for Interdisciplinary teaching should be limited.Although the flexibility of interdisciplinary teaching of Political science in high school is much higher than the traditional teaching mode,it is necessary to assess the specific teaching activities of teachers because of the high demands on teaching organizers.First,we should have a feasibility assessment on the teachers' central topic and teaching plan,the central topic and teaching plan can be implemented if they are feasibility.Second,we must evaluate the results of Interdisciplinary teaching to achieve the desired results.Third,the teacher's specific teaching activities should be assessed.
