Interdisciplinary eductation,one of the current trends of basic education curriculum reform in China,is an effective way to cultivate innovative talents and enhance competitive power of the country all around the world.In order to find an effective way for math teachers to participate in interdisciplinary teaching,the researcher conducted two teaching experiments and investigated the following two questions:(1)How to design the interdisciplinary teaching of mathematics supported by information technology based on the ADDIE teaching design framework?(2)How to assess the design quality of interdisciplinary teaching of mathematics based on the TRU classroom evaluation framework?A total of 95 middle school students participated in the two teaching experiments,including 47 students in Class A(21 boys,26 girls)and 48 students in Class B(22 boys and 26 girls).The research offered two integrated STEM programs for these students during the study period.Given the existing research achievements of ADDIE teaching design framework,learning environment under information technology and interdisciplinary teaching,the researcher chosen the integrated STEM education as the model of interdisciplinary integration and developed two STEM projects which made mathematics as the center of the subject.The general process of interdisciplinary teaching design of mathematics was refined in the end.Then,the researcher developed a questionnaire as a survey tool with better reliability which was based on the research already studied in TRU classroom evaluation framework to evaluate the quality of teaching design in integrated STEM education.Finally,the researcher organized two classes of 95 students to conduct real classroom teaching,implementing the design of two integrated STEM projects in each class,and collect data in the end.researcher used interviews,classroom observations,questionnaire survey,material collection and other methods to collect useful data,then used SPSS statistical analysis software to analyze the quantitative data collected and combined with qualitative analysis to analyze the research problems abovethe quality evaluation results of interdisciplinary teaching design and the method of interdisciplinary teaching design of mathematics supported by information technology were appropriate presented.The result shows that:(1)The interdisciplinary teaching design supported by information technology,based on the ADDIE teaching design framework,is feasible on theory and practice,it is very suitable for novice teachers to design interdisciplinary teaching of mthematics.(2)The evaluation tool of teaching design based on TRU classroom evaluation framework for STEM project has good confidene,and the results of factor analysis also show that it has good content validity.What's more,students who participated in the experiment had a score rate of more than 70%in all indicator in the questionnaire on the quality of teaching design in the two STEM projects.And the results of the evaluation in five dimensions of TRU framework show that the learning content dimension score was the highest and the cognitive demand dimension got the lowest score.According to the results of the students' interview feedback,most students were interested in the learning content of mathematics interdisciplinary,teaching,but some students thought that mathematics interdisciplinary teaching was difficult to meet the requirements of the examination.The results of the interview also confirmed the results of the purvey from the side,that is,students approved of the averall design quality of STEM projects designed in this study and made the highest evaluation on dimension of learning content,but the highest evaluation on cognitive demand dimension.
