The purpose of this study is to research the school adaptation of the first-grade pupils of primary school from the perspective of the transition between kindergarten children and first-grader pupils.The first-grade pupils of Changzhou J Primary School were identified as the objects of the study.Research methods include the literature,observation and interview.The School Adaptation consists of two aspects mainly-Learning adaptation and Social adaptation.Based on the observation of the school adaptation,the paper focuses on the analysis of the factors that affect the adaptation of first-grade pupils.From the research results,it is revealed that the overall adaptation of the first-grade pupils in the first semester is good.In the aspect of learning adaptation,the knowledge of first grade textbook is not difficult,while bad learning habits is the major adaptation issue of first-grade pupils.The crucial ability of attention,listen carefully and finish the homework per the requirements shall be developed.In the aspect of social adaptation,the interaction between teachers and pupils is better than the interaction among the pupils.The pupils respect the teachers a lot usually.After the first week,most of the pupils have fixed game partners.There are many rules in the school;To fully conform the rules can not be established in a short time,the reason for the pupils who do not respect the rules are mainly caused by the family education.Most pupils have the collective consciousness,but the pupils may change the mind when the collective interest has the conflicts with personal interests.In the end,the corresponding strategies have been brought up to help the first-grade pupils to build the better school adaptation according to the above research in combination of the courses developed to help transition between kindergarten children and first-grader pupils in Changzhou J Primary School.
