The children in five and six grade in primary school are largely in early adolescence. These children have special psychological characteristics. These children in the school are always self-centered and want to try their best to get rid of the discipline of parents in the home, many things are starting to decide to theirselves; Psychologically,they were easily to make a radical things. All these problems make the class management difficult. These give a challenge to teachers and parents’ education, and how to education children, make them better adapt to school life and establish the positive self concept, is worth to discuss. After the study of numerous data, the writer found that many scholars research on the relationships between the two aspects above, no one has studied the three and especially no one has studied on these for the group of Korean-Chinese students. Due to the limited condition and the specific settings of the fifth-grade and sixth-grade pupils, so the writer selects the Han students and Korean-Chinese students in grade five and six for the survey. Hoping the results of this article can enrich related theory and has certain reference value for actual ethnic education.This thesis cocludes the following aspects:make a survey of the parental rearing pattern, self-concept and school adaptation among Korean-Chinese students in grade five and six. Weather the parental rearing pattern, self-concept and school adaptation has the significant difference in gender, grade, nation and single or not. Make a research on the relationships between parental rearing pattern, self-concept and school adaptation.After investigation, statistics and analysis, this thesis gets the following conclusions:1. The Korean-Chinese students’families have many kinds of rearing patterns. The prominent rearing patterns are father’s emotional warmth and understanding, mother’s emotional warmth and understanding, mother’s preference. The followed rearing patterns are father and mother’s over-protection and over-interference. And there exists significant differences in gender, grade, nation and single or not. 2. The Korean-Chinese senior elementary students’self-concept is in the medium level. Their self-concept has significant difference in grade, single or not and nation, but there is no significant difference in gender.3. Most Korean-Chinese senior elementary school students’school adaptation is good, but the academic adaptation is on the low lever. There exists significant difference in gender, grade and nation. But there has no significant difference on the dimension of single or not.4. There has close relationship between self-concept, school adaptation and parental rearing patterns. Parental rearing patterns can be used to predict every dimension of self-concept and school adaptation. At last, self-concept can predict every dimension of school adaptation.5. Self-concept partially mediated the relation of parental rearing pattern and school adaptation.
