Grade one of primary school is not only the initial stage of basic education, but also a critical period of physical and mental development which influences on all their lives. With the enormous change of education environment, children’s adaptability have relations with their academic record and career in the future, and their developments of physical and mental health. The subject of studying the adaptability of pupil, smoothing the children’s entrance gradient, laying a solid foundation for children in their future study and life have become the focus of investigation for educators and researcher. The investigation of children’s entrance adaptation in Jiarong Tibetan region located in Ganzi of Sichuan province contributes to let more people pay attention to children’s adaptation after entering primary school in minority areas, at the same time can intuitively reflect the problems on the preschool children school readiness education, provide some empirical support and reference on children’s entrance adaptation and school readiness education.Taking Suopo primary school in Danba County, Ganzi Jiarong Tibetan Autonomous, Sichuan as example, this study investigated the present situation of children’s adaptation employing the fieldwork approach, and interviewed some teachers and guardians to explore the adaptation of children and its influencing factors. Based on the investigations above, the results are as below:(1) On the aspect of learned adaptation, some students on learning attitude have good adaptation. However, on the other aspect such as study habits, study skills and academic achievement, children in Jiaronn Tibetan area have some different problems. On the aspect of social adaptation, students showed good behavior with self-management ability, independent living and collective consciousness, but some children are not good enough on the aspect of emotional adaptation. There are good communications among each student. However, there is a bad phenomenon what is short of good interaction and exchange between the students and teachers.(2) The children who did not get the pre-school education are significantly on a weak position. Moreover, the developments of each entrance adaptation factors are not as good as the children who have get the pre-school education.(3)It is difficult for the pupil to adapt the Chinese language. A poor understanding and application of the Chinese language is a prominent problem of children’s entrance adaptation. This problem has observably relations with learning adaptation and social adaptation. Importantly, the level of Chinese language adaptation is a significant factor which influences on entrance adaptation for Grade one pupil of primary school.This research is based on chasm theory of transition between kindergarten and first-grade school. It made an overall analysis of the influential factors about children’s entrance adaptation problems in the aspects of school, family and community. At last, the researched believed that there is necessary to adhere to the principles of integrity, equity and respect, the bi-directional adaptation between students and school and consistency of education influence. And then four suggestions are provided on this basis.(1) Improve the education and teaching environment in school and create a school environment which matched with student’s living space of Jiarong Tibetan areas.(2) Popularize Pre-school education and improve the quality of kindergarten education.(3) Pay attention to family education and make full use of the role of parents in promoting.(4) Coordinate force in order to promoting family-school collaboration and form the resultant force of education.
