National security refers to the objective state and national country from dangerous behavior ability which the ability to maintain this state, is a national survival and the development premise,but also an important guarantee of citizens living and happy life. With the economic globalization and the continuous development of network information technology, the connotation of national security also will continue to extend, and gradually penetrate into people's daily life, the national security awareness of citizens to enhance the delay. National security education as an important means to promote national security awareness of citizens, its status and role is also increasing. The junior high school students as the future of the country and the nation, is in the world outlook,outlook on life, the formation of values at an important stage, the daily life of the national security problems lack of adequate understanding and coping ability. Therefore, it is very important for junior high school students to carry out national security education. The nature of the ideological and moral class determines that it has important theoretical and practical value through its national security education for junior high school students.This paper summarizes the relevant theories of national security education in ideological and moral courses through text analysis, and defines national security education in national security and national security education and ideological and moral lessons respectively. It is not only possible to help junior high school students to deepen their understanding of national security problems, but also to help junior high school students develop their ability to cope with national security problems so as to improve their national safety and quality. Based on the investigation of the status quo of junior high school students national safety and quality education, this paper concludes that there are some problems in the teaching of junior high school in the middle school,which is the lack of attention to the national safety education. The contents of national security education in the ideological and moral education materials are fragmented and implicit. Re -theory of light practice, ideological and moral lessons in the national security education teaching methods single, ideological and moral teaching methods such as a single evaluation of a single reason. Based on the combination of universality and pertinence, the combination of theory and practice, thought and science, and the teaching principles of inspiring and guiding students'participation are put forward, including improving the teaching material, digging teaching materials, setting the theme module , To strengthen the case teaching, increase student practice,enrich the teaching evaluation, strengthen teacher training and other improvements in order to help junior high school students to establish a correct national security awareness and enhance the ability to respond to national security teaching objectives, reduce national security issues to junior high school students Of the threat, so that they safely through puberty, growth for the development needs of the country's talent.
