Today, with the rising of the importance of the secondary vocational education,the position of probability statistics in the vocational school has also been rising. With the development of education concept and ideas, and together with the education reformation move deeply, mathematics teaching methods are constantly innovating.Continuously inherited "practice type" mathematics teaching method has been innovated in its using range and way at the same time. In this study, this method is used to improve the teaching effect of probability statistics in secondary vocational mathematics, and to promote students to understand the concept, it is expected that with this method teachers and students both can deeply grasp the combination of'learning and using'.In this study, the theory and practice of the 'practice type' teaching method has been perfected by collecting and analyzing the relevant literatures, summarizing the questionnaires, collecting the interviews and exchanges of the individual students, and summarizing the teaching methods of experienced teachers.The main conclusions of the study are:(1) It is true that all the educators are focus on teaching method innovation especially on teaching research on Probability and Statistics in Secondary Vocational Schools, but it had to admit that there are still some points need to take care, such as 'Theory divorced from reality.' 'Students' practical ability is not considered.''No relationship between teaching and testing.'(2) The questionnaires results show that the most difficulty point for students is that how to understand abstract concept of probability and statistics. Both teachers and students are more trustable 'practice type' mathematics teaching method.(3) It is approved by course experiment that this method, which already get the good feedback from students, can meet the teaching purpose and requirement, fit to the requirement of'outline' and 'standard' and excite students' motivation at the same time.(4) The following combination way could be one method used for normal teaching activity, 'reset the teaching content by combining the reality', 'excite students interest with more practice', 'Inspire students to understand and summarize the concept','Guide students to discuss analogy,learn by analogy.'So the recommendations for teachers are in the follows. Learning and test content matching, appropriate to reduce the difficulty, learning with practice. Suggestions for student learning are: build right attitude to learning, cultivate good study habits, and supplement the basic knowledge.
