With the development of information today,"statistics and probability" is indispensable in social application.Statistics can provide a basis for people to make decisions,and probability can provide important thinking patterns and problem-solving methods for the objective world.However,in the practical application,students are bound by the examination and neglect the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.In the trend of global education,mathematics culture plays an important role in subject teaching.By highlighting the value of mathematics culture,it can stimulate students' interest in mathematics learning and improve their emotional attitude towards mathematics.In this case,it is necessary to integrate mathematics culture into "statistics and probability" teaching.According to the time requirement,development need and value orientation of mathematical culture,the author studies the integration of mathematical culture.Firstly,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the literature on mathematical culture in China and foreign countries and on the integration of mathematical culture into "statistics and probability".This paper makes quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis of the knowledge points with mathematical cultural background in the examination questions.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview survey are carried out on the current situation of mathematics culture of senior two students.On this basis,the teaching design of integrating mathematics culture into "statistics and probability" is constructed,and the teaching design principles of integrating mathematics culture into "statistics and probability" are summarized.Integrate into life examples and realize practical significance;Combine science and technology,understandmathematics thought;Penetrate the humanities and arts,appreciate the beauty of mathematics),and selected two teaching contents of "Statistics and probability",respectively "frequency distribution of samples estimated population distribution" and "probability of random events" to carry out case analysis and classroom practice.In the end,a questionnaire survey is conducted to explore the influence of the integration of mathematics culture into "statistics and probability".Then a random selection of individual students for the effectiveness of the interview survey.The practice results show that the teaching practice of mathematics culture integrating "statistics and probability" has achieved good results.In terms of academic performance,the independent sample t test on the math performance of the two groups showed that the significant Sig.(bilateral)=0.047<0.05,indicating that there was a significant difference between the two groups.Among them,the average score of the experimental group was 78.03,and that of the control group was 71.53,indicating that the teaching practice integrated with mathematics culture improved the students' mathematics learning performance to a certain extent.In terms of questionnaire,the experimental class' s response was better than the control class,which indicated that the teaching practice integrated with mathematics culture improved students' interest in mathematics learning and increased their participation in mathematics class to a certain extent.Based on the existing research results,the mathematical culture is integrated into the teaching practice of "statistics and probability",which provides reference for the further research of relevant theoretical practice.However,due to the limitation of enrollment and time,the research results still have some limitations,which require further attempts and research in the future.
