Since "The history of compulsory education curriculum standards for middle school(2011 Edition)" issued, the concept, goals, curriculum content, implementation in history teaching have greatly changed. Different forms of teaching activities such as"investigation","access","visit" have clearly been put forward in "The course content" and "teaching activities" parts of the edition. In addition to diagnostic evaluation, process evaluation, and final evaluation, there is also a kind of evaluation type - performance evaluation entering people's vision. It can be used to measure the learning outcomes that can not be measured by objective test questions. The edition also stresses the use of skills in the real situation to complete the task of learning. It pays attention to the evaluation of the learning process and the development of the evaluation criteria as well.This thesis "The Research on Performance Evaluation of Investigation in Junior High School History" starts from the investigation activities and the design of its evaluation.The thesis analyzes the misunderstandings and shortcomings in the process of the definition,implementation and feedback. Through the interpretation of "Advice of curriculum content and teaching activities",the thesis designs the evaluation targets of"investigation" and chooses the evaluation methods to determine the evaluation standards. Then, on the basis of "double evidence law", the paper considers"archaeological discoveries" as a main object of investigation activities and researches the methods of operating performance evaluation. On the other hand, according to the"reading materials" in the junior high school history textbooks edited by Education Department, this thesis establishes emotional attitude and values of the crossing points between investigation activities" and "Curriculum" It leads the "investigation activities" by "national feelings accomplishment" to promote the development of the students.
