The Difficulties And Countermeasures Of Talent Selection And Cultivation In Yunnan CUBA League

As a socially oriented college basketball tournament,Chinese University Basketball Association(CUBA)has been successfully held 16 th,since its founding as a special sports leagues in 1998.With“healthy and positive,fair,pure progressive”brand image,CUBA league has become one of the best sports brand events recognized by Chinese society.As one of two major college basketball events in China,CUBA has made important contributions in promoting and increasing the popularity of basketball sports.But there are many factors affecting CUBA League,of which the quality of participating athletes selection and their training conditions after entering colleges directly impact the overall level of college basketball teams and CUBA competitions.This paper selected athletes,coaches,and experts in different CUBA professional groups in Yunnan Province as research objects,and adopted literature research,questionnaire methods,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and logical analysis as research methods,made a careful analysis and argument about enrollment,students,training,competition,funding,coaches status etc.,of each CUBA team,especially outstanding teams in Yunnan.Above these researches,by contrast,training status and personnel selection problems of each CUBA team in Yunnan Province was found out.On the basis of CUBA outstanding teams' successful experience,combined with the actual situations of Yunnan Province,practical suggestions are put forward to improve the overall CUBA League teams' level in Yunnan Province.
