Zhengzhou Finance And Taxation Finance Vocational College Development Strategy Research

Our school has seized the opportunity of our country's actively developing higher vocational education since 1990 s and thereby turned into a higher vocational institution “Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation” from the original general secondary vocational school “Zhengzhou School of Finance and Taxation” in 2003,achieved a qualitative leap,steadily expanded our scale,steadily improved our teaching quality and accomplished unprecedented achievements in recent years through the joint and unremitting efforts of our teachers and students.However,we are still facing a fierce competition from ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities,private universities,especially those vocational schools fallen to the same type as that of us.We lack experience in relevant concepts and measures of running higher vocational education as a new comer in higher vocational education sector,hence we must set a clear objective in order to demonstrate our own characteristics in future development,and the implementation of strategic management becomes an imminent of our school.This paper thoroughly analyzes the internal and external environment of our school through a combination of theory and practice applying SWOT analysis method created by Andrews based on the current circumstances of vocational education and the present situations of our school,finds out the advantages and disadvantages in the development of our college,as well as those the opportunities and threats that our college faces in the development,and formulates certain clear strategic implementation objectives and strategic measures.This paper applies relevant theories in Strategic Management,Management and Education Management sectors to expound the guiding ideologies,development concepts,strategic objectives and other major issues for the development of our college through seven chapters including ”Introduction”,”Summarization of Relevant Theories”,”Analysis of Environment of Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation”,”Strategic Objectives for the Development of Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation”,”Implementation of Strategies of Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation” and ”Conclusions”,and puts forward the practical guidance plan accordingly,hoping that this paper may promote the formulation and implementation of development strategies of our school actively to a certain extent.
