The indispensable role of human capital in economic development has been demonstrated by history and practice.In recent years,the speed of Tibet‘s economic development has been in the forefront of the country,meaning that the demand for human capital in Tibet society is increasing.Education plays the most direct and effective role in the development and cultivation of human capital.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to improve the educational level in southwest China's Tibet autonomous region.Over the past few years,vocational education has been placed in a prominent strategic position.The introduction of the National Plan for the Implementation of Vocational Education Reform has directed the path for the development of vocational education throughout the country,and thus vocational education in Tibet has embarked on a new journey.Secondary vocational education is the basic part of vocational education.The Tibet Autonomous Regional government proposed to speed up the adjustment of the subjects' structure of secondary vocational education,to build 1 to 2 subjects' groups in the cities and prefectures,to build 2 to 3 branded subjects in the region's secondary vocational schools,to build 20 to 30 branded subjects with characteristics in the region,and finally to form the development pattern of secondary vocational education-"one school has one brand and one school has one feature".This provides the policy support for the essay to study the construction of majors in trade,finance and economics in secondary vocational schools in Tibet.The research objects of this thesis are trade,finance and economics majors in secondary vocational education.Through literature research,statistical analysis,questionnaire and other means,we can get a multi-dimensional and multi-level understanding of Tibet's economic,demographic and geographical environment,understand Tibet's secondary vocational education students,teachers and infrastructure,understand the layout,curriculum and teaching situation of the trade,finance and economics majors in secondary vocational education in Tibet,and understand the demand of the Tibet market for middle-level professionals in trade,finance and economics.On this basis,the rationality of the above situation,the existing problems and the causes of the problems are analyzed.It is concluded as follows.Firstly,the overall investment of secondary vocational education in Tibet is at the national average level,but based on its geographical environment factor,it is necessary to continue to invest educational resources in order to ensure adequate supply of human capital.Secondly,secondary vocational education teachers in Tibet are at a low level,lacking professional authoritative talents and high professional and technical personnel.Thirdly,the secondary vocational school's trade,finance and economics majors in Tibet are still in the early stage of development;the professional layout is unreasonable;the curriculum is not scientific,therefore,it is difficult to cultivate professional talents to meet the market demand.Finally,some suggestions on the construction of trade,finance and economics majors in Tibet's secondary vocational schools are put forward in this thesis in the light of the current situation and problems found.Firstly,we should clarify the status of secondary vocational education,give full play to the role of the government in overall management,and focus on solving the problems of enrollment difficulties,low participation of society and unbalanced development.Secondly,we should build schools and majors of trade,finance and economics with characteristics in secondary vocational schools in Tibet and strive to achieve centralized and specialized school-running through centralized school-running resources and enrollment channels,so as to enhance the systematization of teaching and improve the quality of teaching.Thirdly,we should improve the level of teachers.First,we should quickly supplement the number of teaching staff by introducing from outside Tibet and cultivating in Tibet.Then we should improve the management system of teachers and introduce the theory of shelf-free life to promote the ability level of secondary vocational teachers.Fourthly,we should promote diversified school-running such as "school-enterprise cooperation",enhance the compatibility between education and the market,and promote employment in many ways.
