As an important carrier of curriculum content,textbooks play a guiding role in history teaching to a certain extent.With the continuous development of historical pedagogy,research and analysis of history textbooks have received increasing attention.As the saying goes,the stones of his mountains can be used to attack jade.Chinese scholars research on the history textbooks of developed countries also more deeply,especially in the study of the United States,Britain,Japan and other countries high school history textbook has contribution to compare,and in recent years,domestic scholars and front-line teachers history the history of the developed countries in southeast Asia Singapore education attention also increased;But there is still a lack of research on the history textbooks of secondary schools in Singapore.This article intends to start with a case study.It is based on the representative World Junior History textbooks for the "unit 2 The World in Crisis" of the HOODER EDUCATION edition of Singapore.It has a major influence on the history of the world.The part of "World War II" was a case study to explore the characteristics of Singapore's junior high school history textbooks in terms of content writing.The first part of the text begins with a brief overview of the history curriculum of secondary schools in Singapore,the curriculum standards and the history textbooks of HODDER Education Edition Middle School.The second part analyzes the "World War II" in HOODER'S educational version of "unit 2 The World in Crisis".It is based on the basic content framework,the characteristics of content writing,and the selection of historical and historical materials.A detailed exploration was conducted and an initial comparison was made between the similarities and differences between World War II and the World War II(the second grade of the 9th grade)in the HOODER EDUCATION secondary school history textbooks.The third part is about the thinking brought by HOODER EDUCATION secondary school history textbook "unit 2 The World in Crisis"("The World Crisis")and the enlightenment to our country's junior high school history textbook compilation.
