Along with China's modernization and urbanization process,a large number of immigrants are pouring into large and medium-sized cities to find opportunities for work and life.New urban migrants are important forces for China's modernization and urbanization.They have made great contributions to the economic and social development of the cities.It is of great significance to study the transformation of new urban migrants in understanding the evolution of China's labor market in the process of reform,as well as the understanding of the course and face of China's economic and social transformation from this aspect.The central theme of this paper is the work transformation of new urban migrants,namely the process,results and influencing factors of the work transformation of new urban migrants.Specifically,this paper focuses on two aspects:(1)job switching status and its influencing factors;(2)job switching is income effect.Combined with human capital and social capital,this paper makes an empirical analysis through the data of CLDS "China labor force dynamic survey".The results show that human capital and social capital have significant influence on the work transformation and income effect of new urban migrants,among which human capital is more obvious.Human capital and social capital have a significant impact on the interaction between the age of education and the size of the local discussion network.
