A Social Work Intervention Study On The Improvement Of The Sense Of Belonging Of The Urban Elderly Community

With the development of urbanization and the deepening of population aging,the quality of life of the elderly in urban areas has been gradually concerned.As the main place of life for the elderly in the urban area,the emotional attachment of the community to the elderly directly affects the quality of life of the elderly.The sense of community belonging to the old people of the town,as an important indicator of the emotional attachment of the elderly to the community,has not been effectively promoted,which directly affects the quality of life of the elderly.Social work,as a professional activity that helps people with scientific methods,should also contribute to improving the sense of belonging of the elderly in urban areas.Based on the previous research,this paper mainly investigates the sense of community belonging of urban elderly from three basic dimensions of community participation,community relationship network and community satisfaction,taking the L community as an example.As a community in the beginning of this century,the L community began to move back into the community at first.After the development of the city,many migrant workers and businessmen settled here,and their parents moved from the field for many reasons such as taking care of children.As a result,the number of elderly living here is huge and complex,and the sense of belonging of the elderly is low.This article takes the sense of belonging in the L community as the breakthrough point,and uses the professional methods of social work to help solve the problem that the elderly do not have a strong sense of belonging.First,to evaluate the needs of the sense of community belonging to the elderly,and based on the needs assessment,based on the theory of social support,the theory of interpersonal needs and the theory of social learning,the group activities and community activities are designed to improve the sense of community belonging to the elderly.7 elderly people who have not strong sense of community belonging have carried out group activities.On the basis of the demand assessment,we look back on the community's past,look forward to the future of the community,make suggestions to the community,and actively participate in the community civilization to promote the sense of community belonging.Based on the needs of improving community participation and expandingthe network of community relations,the design of community activities is designed to carry out an interesting sports meeting.Through interesting sports,it will promote communication among the elderly,strengthen communication,strengthen the purpose of community relations network,and ultimately enhance the sense of community belonging.Through the practice,it can be concluded that social work can enhance the sense of community belonging to the urban elderly through the following three aspects: first,social work promotes neighbourhood communication,expands the network of community relations;two,social work helps to establish participation mechanism,encourages the elderly to participate in community building;and three is the social work to improve the community.Relations,serve the elderly in the community.Promoting social work to improve the sense of belonging of urban elderly community,not only can effectively improve the sense of community belonging to the elderly,but also accelerate the localization of social work,and add impetus to the development of social work in our country.
