Research On The Changes Of Rural Clan Function In The Process Of Urbanization

As a kind of local social organization structure,the clan has its distinct characteristics of the times,and its functions have significant differences in different periods.Since China's reform and opening up,although it has lost its integrity,the clan still covers all aspects of the rural society,especially the development of the urbanization wave being breaking the existing urban and rural dual structure.As urbanization makes the person's social aspects unprecedented widespread and new social network is lashing the traditional one with consanguinity and affinity as the core,the clan has to choose the development direction: stick to original village as the carrier and the blood as a link,or actively adapt to the trend of the development of the urbanization,in order to realize the function of clan refactoring.Taking Yang village as an investigation field,and by means of dealing with research records and describing the changes happened in Yang village clan function under the background of urbanization,this paper hopes that based on the investigation of the Yang village,it is possible to explore what has happened to the function of clan debugging and innovation,which also helps to complete the writing of the change of Yang village ethnography.Structurally,this paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,accounting for the origin and significance of the study,and taking a systematic review of related literature research on clan function;On the basis of field investigation,the general situation of Yang village was introduced.The second part is about the family tree and clan of Yang village.Through the organization of family tree,the development and the history of the family tree revision of Yang village were interpreted and branches of the genealogy,population and clan of Yang village were also sketched;The function of the clan is interpreted by means of traditional clan activities such as continuation of family tree and sacrifice.The third part introduces that in the process of urbanization,seasonal flow appears in the population of Yang village,leading to the absence of clan activities.there is a new feature appeared in the clan function,eventually changing the function of the clan.The fourth part is about the urbanization and the change of the clan identity.through the clan cognition of "early generation of migrant workers" and "second generation of migrant workers",the dilemma of clan culture inheritance was discussed.The fifth part is about some reflections on the modern transformation of the rural clan and the exploration direction of the modernization of rural clans was proposed.
