Junior school students often lose their interest in mathematics as they continue to study this subject,thus,this affects their grades.Because cooperative learning pay more attention to students' emotion,it may be used to prevent this problem.The purpose of this study is to find the best way and come up with the solution.First,this research used document analysis method to determine the problem of each students and how cooperative learning influence their attitude towards this subject.Second,this study took two classes of a public school in Shenyang as subjects,experimental class and control class,and it was a longitudinal studies,followed the same students for 13 weeks.Research used several methods such as observation and questionnaire to determine the problem.In conclusions to this study:1.The students' attitude towards learning mathematics decreased gradually as time pass by and cooperative learning method can help them to solve this underlying problem.2.Cooperative learning can improve students' cognition of the value of mathematics and enhance students' learning motivation.3.Different gender orientation had different outcome in this research.Male students improved their cognition learning while female experienced an increase in learning readiness.4.Students' attitude toward the subject is correlated positively with their scores.5.Cooperative learning narrows the gap between students who participate and improves in mathematics and those who fall behind their studies.
