Geospatial thinking ability is a scientific accomplishment modern people should possess.It is of great significance to the all-round development of students and the survival and development of mankind.Secondary school stage,students' ability to think geospatial more conducive to students learn geography,to solve geographical problems.This article systematically researches the related theory of geospatial thinking ability,which has some theoretical significance.Based on the questionnaire,this paper investigates the geospatial factor perception of junior high school students.Based on this,the survey results are given and combined with the practical cases It is also of practical significance to develop teaching suggestions on the perception of geospatial elements.This article is divided into four parts:The first part: Point out the research background and significance of this article;Summarize relevant domestic and foreign literature,and point out the purpose and content of this article,research ideas and methods.The second part: the definition of geospatial elements' perception ability.Based on the theory of each scholar,this paper analyzes the connotation of geospatial awareness,analyzes the connotation of geospatial elements,and analyzes the connotation and classification of geospatial elements' perception abilities.The initial establishment of a theoretical system on the perception of geospatial elements.The third part: the junior high school geospatial element perception ability research.Analyze the academic level geography questions in the past five years by means of the level of division,prepare survey papers,analyze the investigation background,and determine the investigation process and the statistical analysis(difficulty,reliability,etc.)of the survey items.Part IV: Analysis of the Survey Results and Teaching Suggestions.The statistical analysis after the test reveals the status quo of junior high school students' perception of geospatial elements,and analyzes the required geospatial thinking skills in the textbooks and puts forward some suggestions based on the examples.
