With the release of China's "universal two-child" policy, more and more families are choosing to have a second child, and following the number of newborns in China will reach a new peak. There is no doubt that the family is the main place for the growth of infants and young children, the quality of early family parenting quality has a profound influence on the future development of infants.Among them, the maternal upbringing knowledge and the quality of parent-child interaction play a direct or indirect role in the future development of infants and young children. In recent years, the research on the social and emotional ability of children in foreign countries has aroused widespread concern about the social and emotional ability of infants and young children, many researchers are influenced by the ecosystem theory of Brown Finbrenner, and gradually, the perspective is devoted to the family in the micro-system of infant development.Based on this, this study takes Shanghai area as an example to explore the current situation of mother's upbringing knowledge and the influence of mother's upbringing knowledge on the social and emotional ability of infants and young children;the influence of parenting knowledge on the quality of parent-child interaction, and the influence of parent-child interaction quality on infants' social and emotional ability,as well as the regulation effect of maternal knowledge on parent-child interaction and infants' social and emotional ability. There are two research topics in this study. The first study in this research, there were 244 infants aged 12 to 36 months were evaluated by questionnaire survey, the mothers who participated in this research needed to fill out two questionnaires, namely the Knowledge of Infant Development Inventory(KIDI)and Infant and Toddler Social and emotional Assessment(ITSEA).The second study was investigated the relationship between mother's upbringing knowledge,parent-child interaction quality and infant's social and emotional ability by means of the combination of questionnaire survey and observation method. On the one hand,in this study,SPSS21.0 was used to test the common method deviation of two questionnaires filled out by mothers, the results showed that the two questionnaires shared by mother were not significant. On the other hand,in this study,we also used SPSS21.0 to analyze the data using descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, correlation analysis and regression analysis, and the results were as follows:1.The maternal upbringing knowledge is generally at a moderate level.2.The maternal upbringing knowledge is significantly related to mother's degree and monthly family income.3.There is a significant positive correlation between mother's practical knowledge and the social and emotional ability of infants and children, and the mother's milestone knowledge was positively correlated with infants' attention,imitation/play,mastery motivation, empathy and total score, further regression analysis results show that the mother breeding practice knowledge can predict infant attention, imitation or game,refinement,motivation,empathy,pro-social peer relations and the total score of social and emotional ability.4.The score and total score of each dimension of mother's parent-child interaction were higher than average, which means that the quality of parent-child interaction is at a moderate level.Among them, the mother scored the highest on the emotional support strategy, however they scored the lowest on the response strategy.5.There is a significant positive correlation between maternal practice knowledge and emotional support strategy.6.The mother's response strategy was positively correlated with infants' attention and mastery motivation, and the encouragement strategy was positively correlated with the prosocial peer relations.7.The practical knowledge of mother's can adjust the influence of the response strategy on the infant's mastery motivation, when mother's practical knowledge is higher, the responsive strategy can significantly positively predict infant's mastery motivation.
