The Research On Regional Comprehensive Economic Strength Of Wuhan

On April 5, 2015, a new large urban agglomeration planning of urban agglomeration in the middle reach of Yangtze river- officially received approval from the state council,the three provinces including Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi.As the capital city of Wuhan,Changsha and Nanchang is the first positive action, and the further cooperation between each other, from several aspects the cooperation projects covers education, tourism,transportation, science and technology, etc.And as a central city in central China, Wuhan economic strength be reckoned, so the Wuhan regional comprehensive economic strength is a meaningful thing.This article mainly wrote three parts: one is with the domestic part of the city of Wuhan regional comprehensive economic strength comparison research, constructs the comprehensive index system, using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and entropy value method, principal component analysis(PCA) and fuzzy Borda method respectively to calculate the parts of the city of Wuhan city and domestic regional comprehensive strength index and ranked;Second, Wuhan and other cities in Hubei province's regional comprehensive economic strength comparison, the selection of per capita GDP as a measure of approximate using spatial statistical analysis method is studied;Three is the state of the economy of urban agglomeration in the middle reach of Yangtze river has carried on the comparative study, using spatial econometric software GeoDA visual function, from GDP, population, per capita GDP, fixed assets investment, total retail sales of social consumer goods, etc. Through the analysis of the main economic indicators.In this paper, the following conclusions:(1) Compared with big cities such as Beijing, Wuhan comprehensive economic strength has certain gap, in the national basic belongs to the second tier;But in a leading position in the second-tier cities, its regional comprehensive economic strength than Changsha,Chongqing and other cities.(2)Regional economic development gap is bigger in Hubei province, the only developed economy, Wuhan and Yichang city in Hubei province Jingzhou, Huanggang, Enshi region of the border economy is relatively backward.(3) The main economic indicators of Wuhan city is always the top in the study of the urban agglomeration in the middle reachof Yangtze river, but the overall comprehensive strength is weak, and to the progress of the whole urban agglomeration in the middle reach of Yangtze river, can give full play to the Wuhan economic radiation ability, strengthen the relationship between urban agglomeration especially across provinces and cities.
