Research On The Dynamic Relationship Between The Level Of Urbanization And The Employment Rate Of Shaanxi Province

China is in the stage of growing urbanization,the urbanization rate of Shaanxi Province have been closer with the national average, but the urbanization rate of Shaanxi Provinceis under the national average in a long period of time. On employment issues,same with many provinces, there are labor supply exceeds labor demand conditions in Shaanxi. As a super large population country, this type of problem is easy to produce, and China is in a significant demographic dividend phase,how to arrange a large number of people of good jobs, related to social stability and economic development.With the acceleration of urbanization, the farmer who can rely on farming as their work have to go into town to scramble job with the urban resident,large numbers of workers go into the towns will impact employment of people at junior and senior labor market, and the direction and the size of the impact is worth to study.Of course, the impact of urbanization on employment of farmers and overall employment can not be ignored,In the process of urbanization continue to move forward, all kinds of science and technology has significantly improved, the industrial structure changes constantly, but the employment issue has not been effectively addressed,what relationship between urbanization and employment in Shaanxi Province need to quantitative research.The study of this paper mainly between urbanization and employment. First, by reading a lot of literature as well as access to relevant information, detailed elaboration the status of the urbanization of Shaanxi Province, the employment situation,theurbanization study,and the correlation relationship between urbanization and Employment Research. Then, from three aspects, the whole impact of urbanization on employment, the impact of urbanization to the employment of migrant workers as well as the impact of urbanization to the employment of urban residents detailed analysis of urbanization effect on employment.We find both the positive and negative aspects are exist what the urbanization to the employment of migrant workers; urbanization inhibited urban residents employed in the primary labor market, urbanization promoted urban residents employed in the senior labor market, while the overall urban residents affect value of employment is almost zero. Finally,study the relationship between the level of urbanization of Shaanxi Province and the employment rate.The study conducts analytical research through cointegration test and granger causality based on data regarding urbanization and employment level from 1978 to 2012 in Shaanxi Province.To be specific, cointegration test reveals long-term equilibrium between the urbanization level and employment rate in Shaanxi, while one-way granger causality is found between them through test.Namely,the level of urbanization is the Granger cause of the change about employment rate,and the reverse is not founded. Finally, through the establishment of the VAR model, impulse response analysis and variance analysis,the strength and path about how urbanization level and employment in Shaanxi Province affect each other is indicated.Through a series analysis, put forward some suggestions for the development of urbanization of Shaanxi.
