The Application Research Of Entropy Theory In The Organizational Structure Selection Of Logistics Enterprises

With the increasingly intensified competition in the market, customer's demand on quality and speed of service is becoming more and more high. Logistics are typical service enterprises, and therefore need to continuously improve the quality of service and the capability of quick response to environment. Logistics enterprise organizational structure is a direct reflection to the internal structure in the enterprise, and it is the foundation of enterprise's survival and development. If the organizational structure of an enterprise operation efficiency is high, the rapid response ability of the enterprise is stronger and the quality of service is better.Entropy theory is a powerful tool to describe and measure the uncertainty. With the development and generalization of the entropy theory, it is widely applied in biology, chemistry, agriculture, education, psychology and other fields. The entropy of the organization structure reflects the instability of the structure, namely the disorder, the greater the degree of disorder, the weaker the degree of order, the lower the efficiency of the organizational structure, and vice versa.In view of this, this paper uses entropy to measure the instability of logistics enterprise organizational structure. In the same logistics enterprise organizational structure, the current entropy is greater, the organization structure is more disorder and unstable. At the same time, it is considered that the organization structure of logistics enterprise is a complex, and open system, which is continuously exchange the material, energy and information with the external environment. Logistics enterprise organizational structure needs to draw the negative entropy from the external environment, in order to make the organization structure to a high degree of order.What's more, the existence of logistics enterprise organization structure entropy is expounded, the entropy of logistics enterprise organization structure is definied, the eight factors,which affect the entropy of logistics enterprise organization structure, are classified and summarized, related theories to the entropy of logistics organization structure are analysed, and the nexus between the decreasing entropy and descending efficiency of logistics enterprise organization structure is in reciprocal relationship in my dissertation. On this basis, the entropy model of logistics enterprise organizational structure is made to quantify the instability of the organizational structure. Finally, it calculates the organizational structure of the enterprise in concrete case, and then we can choose the organization structure which is suitable for the development of the enterprise.
