A Study On The Influence Of Outsourcing On The Skill Wage Gap In China

Except the energy intermediate,the average of 10.92 percentage of China's industrial consumption of intermediate inputs are imported intermediate inputs,outsourcing(imported intermediate inputs)technology spillover expands the industrial skill wage gap.This paper based on the model of Feenstra and Hanson,analyzes the mechanism of the impact of outsourcing on China's industrial skill wage gap.Using the industries data of China from 2003-2009,which is from the world input-output database.This paper makes an investigation into the skill wage gap.we found that the high skilled labor wage per hour is significantly higher than the low skilled labor wage per hour by calculation.The skill wage increases gradually at the beginning and then declines rapidly.And the ratio of outsourcing is different from each other.The ratio of outsourcing increases at the beginning increases rapidly and then declines gradually.At last,I examine the impact of the ratio of outsourcing,gross output,export,capital on the skill wage gap in industries by Using the dynamic panel data model DIF Generalized method.The results of the study show that outsourcing have a significant positive impact on the skill wage gap.The outsourcing increases 1 percent,the skill wage gap will increase by 4.71 percentage.
