Fueled by the increasing demands of tourism and encouraged by the local governments,many rural tourism cooperation organizations(RTCOs)and service centers rosing in response to the proper time and conditions,and they prospered the rural tourism gradually.But in the process of investigation in the field,we found that the RTCOs does not coordinate the interests of the various stakeholders reasonablly,so the organizations can not function properly.Profit-sharing pattern is the principle problem RTCOs fronted,the conflicts resulted from an unreasonable profit-sharing may influence the regular operation of RTCOs.Based on profit-sharing related theories,we studied 2 cases of profit-sharing pattern of RTCOs in Guangxi province.We checked up the members of stakeholder and investigated profit-sharing pattern of the stakeholders through field visit and dictation interview.Then we analyzed the merits and demerits of these 2 profit-sharing patterns of the cases.Based on profit-sharing principles and participatory development theory,we formulated a participation model to deal with the profit-sharing problem of RTCOs by adopting the strong points of these 2 cases and avoiding their weakness.Meanwhile,the operation regulation,necessary safeguard measures and functions of the participation model were discussed in detail.We suppose that,this participation model will help RTCOs to improve the level of professionalism,standardization and marketization,and to promote the development of rural tourism and the rural economics.
