The Research On The Value Appraisal Of The Luxury Used-car Based On Replacement Cost Method

Selection and application the method of used-car appraisal is the way to assessment the accurate value of used-car,replacement cost method is the most widely used in current practice.Replacement cost method through the required full cost of a new vehicle which to be estimated under present conditions minus the depreciation of the vehicle caused by various factors to estimate the price of the vehicle.Reliable basis and controllable process are the advantages of replacement cost niethod.Our used-car market has entered a new period of rapid development after nearly 30 years of growth.As the basic assurance of used-car market,identification and valuation of used-car still contain many problems.More and more different grade of used-cars appear with the increasing number of used-car transaction.Because of too rough in appraising used-car,the traditional assessment methods can not reflect the value accurately especially for luxury used-car which with high price.This paper on the main research content consists of five parts.The first is the study of relevant literature and theory,this part summarizes the domestic and foreign research status and achievements of the studies on the used-car appraisal,and the used-car appraisal of thesis writing involves the theory expounded.The second is deeply analysis of replacement cost method.With analize the replacement cost and residue ratio,we raise some deficiencies of the tradional replacement cost method in valuation of the luxury used-car.The third is the study about the state of technology of used-car.To abandon the traditional qualitative identification,this part mainly introduced a innovative method named division scoring modus,namely the appearance checking,engine compartment checking,chassis checking,cabin checking,engine start-up checking and the road test'cheching.The fourth is to establish evaluation model.On the one hand,to.improvecomprehensive adjustment coefficient method,this part will reference market statistics regular pattern and combine mileage with age of the used-car to compile the setment table of devaluation;on the other hand,we use some mathematical methods such as OLS to optimize the proportion which rated by several appraisers.Then we can establish the evaluation model by optimal comprehensive adjustment coefficient.This paper through utilize the devaluation table which based on mileage and age to improve the accuracy and counting velocity of residue ratio.We also utilize the optimum weight which calculated by fuzzy evaluation to solve subjective problem of the integrated adjustment coefficient.The fifth is to carry out example verification and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the improved evaluation model,and the development of used-car appraisal is prospected.
