With the Twelfth Five-Year plan smoothly ending and the prelude of the Thirteenth Five-Year plan slowly being played up,service industry has become an increasingly important motivator in China's process of upgrading and optimizing the industrial structure.As a result of its advantages of low energy consumption,strong motivation and the obvious job-creation capacity,tourism has become the leading industry in the service sector.The six provinces of central China have been the enrichment region of population,hinterland of economy and major market,however,compared with the developed coastal areas in the east and the provinces in the west which have achieved conspicuous breakthrough with the support of national policies,the central China is developing relatively slowly in recent years.Among them,the ability of the central region's tourism service to earn foreign exchange is seriously retarded,considering the long history of civilization and abundant tourism resources.Therefore,in order to efficiently stimulate and promote the local economic development,being able to improve the export competitiveness of these six provinces' tourism service is of great strategic significance,which is exactly the purport of the article.This article consists of five parts besides the introduction,the second part describes the status quos of the tourism industry and the export of tourism service in the six provinces.The third part uses several indexes to integrally and individually evaluate the level of tourism service export ability in the central provinces of China,and it analyzes their current ranking in the whole China with hierarchical clustering method afterwards.This part finds out the export ability of the tourism service in the six provinces,no matter whether it is compared with the one in other areas or other industries in the same area,presents a certain degree of disadvantage.Apart from Anhui province which possesses strong competitiveness and presents steady and healthy development state,the rest of the provinces are all underperforming.Jiangxi,Henan and Shanxi even rank on the downstream level countrywide,which severely restricts the improving of the export competiveness of tourism service in the whole central area.The fourth part sorts out and sums up the factors that are influencing the six provinces' international competitiveness in tourism service on the basis of Porter's Diamond Model,and carries on a profound comparative study in terms of many aspects,leading to a conclusion that the lack of the tourism scenic spots,weak management of travel agencies,small number of practitioners,inadequate star-grade hotels and transportation environments are the main pathogeneses that hinder the export of tourism service in the central area.The fifth part summarizes relevant referential experience through analyzing the development modes of the tourism service industry in Turkey and the rural area of America.In the end,combined with the historical background,this paper comes up with relevant policy recommendations on strengthening the international competitiveness of the tourism service trade in the six central provinces according to the above calculations and analyses.The article thinks that the six provinces of central China should,on one hand,enhance the construction of the tourism scenic spots and travel agencies and strengthen the cultivation intensity of professional talents,on the other hand it should focus on developing relevant industries such as catering industry and cultural entertainment industry in the benign environment built by the government.On that basis,the central area should consistently improve the informatization and digitization of tourism service trade,and grasp the great opportunities of the global convergence such as the Belt and Road,in order to realize the harmonious development of the tourism service export in the six provinces.
