Study On Tourism Competitiveness In Three Northeastern Provinces

The development of tourism can not only boost regional economic development,solve the problem of the laborer employment, but also can increase foreign exchange earnings and guarantee the regional balance of payments. In our country, tourism industry belongs to the emerging industry of national economy, and each province attaches great importance to the development of tourism.In recent years, the development of tourism industry in the three northeast provinces has made great progress. However, due to the limitation of various factors, tourism competitiveness in three northeastern provinces is still in the backward position across the country.Therefore, the comprehensive evaluation of tourism competitiveness levels in the three northeast provinces and finding out the reasons behind is significant for promoting economic development in northeast region of china.This article selects the two indicators of domestic market share and economic contribution degree and cluster analysis method to analysis the tourism competitiveness in three northeastern provinces. The results show that in recent years, tourism competitiveness of the three northeastern provinces has been increasing, but compared to other provinces there is a big gap. To find out causes, it analysis the factors impacting tourism competitiveness of the three northeastern provinces in the empirical and practical view based on the Diamond Model. The results show that the increase in capital investment as well as the improvement of traffic conditions promotes the development of tourism in the three northeast provinces;vicious competition among the tourism industries in the three northeast provinces hinders the development of tourism industry; market demand factors did not play a significant role. Finally, this article proposes the related policy Suggestions according to the problem which existed the development of tourism industry in the three northeast provinces,such as expanding the tourism customer markets、strengthening the competitiveness of tourism enterprises and so on.
