Marx's Critique Of Consumerism In The Perspective Of Consumerism

With the development of modern society,people's living standards and consumption levels are also constantly improving,consumerism are crowding into our country keeping up with the pace of globalization.In its adherence to the "survival is the consumption" values,some people hold the concept that consumption is the highest instead of the traditional values.Consumerism has brought the extremely disadvantageous influence for the sustainable development of society and the all-round development of people.For example,environmental pollution,ecological destruction and values distorted.Based on Marx consumption,this paper emphasizes the historical evolution of consumerism,the forms of consumerism,the main characteristic of consumerism and the dangers of consumerism in our country,then I put forward the correct consumption countermeasures.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is about the basic ideas of Marx's view,respectively from the relationship between consumption and production,distribution,exchange,the relationship between human development and consumption and the relationship between the natural environment.Secondly this paper is about the modern value of the marxist view,mainly from establishing the scientific consumption,sustainable consumption,the balance of human and consumption.The second part of this article states the historical evolution of consumerism and its harm mainly from the three basic aspects.One is the rise of consumerism,the development of consumerism,the expansion of consumerism and its expression;the second is the basic characteristics of consumerism;the third analyses the dangers of consumerism to contemporary Chinese social development respectively from nature,person and society.The third part of this article mainly expounds countermeasures to set up correct consumption view in our country.This paper puts forward some specific measures to curb the spread of consumerismdevelopment,respectively from the state,society and individual.All In all,referring to the essence of Marx's view,I analyse the damage of consumerism to our country objectively.It is of great significance of setting up the correct consumption view,resisting the spread of consumerism,creating a good consumption environment and building a harmonious relationship between human and nature.
