With the development of science and technology and the increasingly fierce market competition, there is nearly no chance to seek differentiation on product. As a result, more and more companies begin to focus on service innovation. In this thesis, the key point is how to achieve the optimal cost in the process of service innovation and meet diverse customer needs at the same time, which modularization is an important approach to solve this problem. Through modularization the companies could reduce the innovation cost and risk, speed up the innovation pace and thus increase customer satisfaction. The main goal of this thesis is to study the service modularization method based on the perspective of service innovation, which realizes the co-creation value of interaction of customer-company and customer-customer. Taken the service provider as decision- making agent, the study has employed a cluster of customer demands and service elements to construct the modules simultaneously. And the multiple factors including service elements, module drivers, value, cost, correlation and service capacity are considered in the models. Based on the above views, mathematical models and the algorithms of integer programming are built to provide a new method of service modularity design and service value innovation for the service provider.Firstly, a four-dimension framework of the service module partition model is introduced based on the pattern of service innovation, which could separate the service modularity method into two parts through the number of customers: individual and group. Then a modified QFD approach and a value-cost model are applied to determine the modular architecture. Finally, the sports service is adopted as a concrete case to verify the validity of the model and method.
