Leadership Ostracism is a widespread workplace ostracism behavior, especially in the public sector. Because of the special status of the excluded, leadership ostracism is different from colleagues exclusion. If not be timely intervented or controlled, it would bring about group rejection behavior. The ripple effect of the leadership ostracism includes two aspects: on the one hand,it is the leadership ostracism that has influence on the psychology and action of the bystanders; one the other hand,it is the feedback of onlookers that affects the development of leadership ostracism. Based on the spectators' position, this paper seeks to study the ripple effect from three aspects including bystander individual characteristics, interpersonal interaction and organizational environment.Besides, the system dynamics model is adopted in this paper to simulate the operating mechanism of the ripple effect. In this model, bystander individual characteristics includes public self-consciousness, machiavellianism, psychological security, empathy ability, and organizational justice; interpersonal interaction includes leader-member exchange and colleagues' relationship quality; organizational environment includes organizational politics and power distance. The outcome of system dynamics model shows that organizational competition deteriorates the leadership ostracism. Besides, only when the organization is full of competition, there is positive correlation between lederhship and the index including organizational politics, public self-consciousness, machiavellianism and leadership status perception. However, adjusting the index of organizational politics, public self-consciousness, machiavellianism, leadership status perception can alleviate the influence of competition on leadership ostracism. To alleviate the effect of leadership ostracism, there are three steps that the organization has to be done. First, reform and improve organizational system to reduce cutthroat competition. Second, create a harmonious interpersonal relationship to strengthen team cohesion. Last but not the least, establish EAP and organizational scoring system, improving the complaints mechanism, tocreate a fair environment.
