Time is an important weapon of enterprise competition, meet customer demand in the shortest time is a new model of enterprise success. Customers are not willing to wait, shorten the waiting time can better meet the needs of customers. More and more enterprises to gain competitive advantage by shortening the waiting time of customers. In the field of electronic commerce, The competition of time is very intense. E-commerce customer's waiting time is mainly logistics time, in order to shorten delivery time, electricity suppliers have invested heavily to improve the logistics. The most representative enterprises is Jingdong Mall and Alibaba, Jingdong Mall announced they will invest ten billion Yuan to built self logistics system, while alibaba plan to invest one hundred billion Yuan to built a socializing logistic system which can delivery anywhere in the country within 24 hours. The competition of the electricity suppliers reflects the importance of distribution time in the field of practice. From the theoretical point of view, it is very necessary to study the decision making problem of time competition.With the competition of logistic layout in the E-commerce market, delivery time will be treated as the main measurement of logistic in this paper. Combined with the theory of supply chain management and e-commerce practice, the model of e-commerce supply chain is built to study the internal rules of logistics competition and how to make competition decision.First, in this paper, the existing research is reviewed from three aspects which is time-based competition theory, applications of time-based competition in supply chain and e-commerce supply chain. Then according to the actual situation of China's e-commerce market, the current situation and mode of logistics business competition is analyzed, combined with a typical case to do a thorough research.on the basis of analysis of theory and practical situation, In order to highlight the important role of logistics in electronic commerce, this paper built a two-stage e-commerce supply chain with a E-commerce enterprise and a logistics provider. we analyzing the decision process of e-commerce system consisted of one electricity supplier and one logistics service providers in decentralized model and centralized model. We found that the best delivery time is decided by the market demand structure and cost characteristics. Also through the comparison of two kinds of modes we can found that centralized decision mode could gain greater market and profit with lower prices, it can provide the theoretical support for the self built logistics mode. Then we design a two-part tariff contract to make the supply chain be well-coordinated.In order to be closer to the reality, then we put the e-commerce platform into to the consideration, built a three-stage e-commerce supply chain with a E-commerce enterprise, a logistics provider and a e-commerce platform. We analyzing the decision process in decentralized model and centralized model. As well, the supply chain be well-coordinated with a two-part tariff contract.The research results show that the optimal distribution time is the same in the electronic commerce supply chain, whether it is two or three stage of e-commerce supply chain, centralized decision-making mode or decentralized decision-making mode. The optimal distribution time is determined by the structure of the market demand and cost characteristics, which is not affected by the organization of the electronic commerce supply chain and the competition or cooperation strategy. And in the face of different consumers, enterprises should choose the different combination of price and time as a competitive weapon. Finally, the market share and profit of centralized decision-making mode is always higher than the decentralized decision-making model, the electronic business enterprise is necessary to take the cooperation strategy in the market competition, and we provide a two-part tariff contract to achieve perfect coordination.
