Endowment insurance is a social security program, which has the largest number of beneficiaries and funds required, also most concerned about the community. The endowment insurance has experienced from scratch, from single to multi-pillar, since the founding of our new China. At present, China has formed the basic pension insurance, annuity, and individual savings insurance three-pillar pension system. However, we faced with the weakening of family functions, an aging population gradually increased, and many other challenges due to the complexity of our country. The existing pension system can't meet the demand with the growing aged. Really good job in the current social endowment insurance work in the construction field is a very important livelihood issues, but also a difficult problem. We must according to the actual situation of local conditions, and strive to explore multivariate pension manner, in order to increase residents' pension selectively increase the welfare of the elderly, so that the residents can spend their remaining years.This paper attempts to proceed from our pension insurance system development process by analyzing the status quo of existing three-pillar pension found its problems, and with reference to build and improve the experience the United States, Hong Kong and other countries and regions, more mature pension system, while adhering to based on the principles of fairness and efficiency, through the family pension, housing endowment, to hire labor exchange, and other second pioneering ways and means to ensure the elderly old age to acquire a sense of security and a feeling of happiness. We must accelerate the construction of pension institutions, and build the pension service industry chain gradually, and relax population policy, and encourage the elderly continue to work after retirement, and establish the relevant laws and regulations of endowment insurance for support, so as to build a more fair, more sustainable and more efficient diversified endowment insurance system.
