Commercial banks are eager for taking parts in the trend of “Internet Plus”.Under this condition,e-commerce becomes more and more important for commercial banks' development.They put huge amounts of investment to develop e-commerce,and strive to play a role in the rapid development and fierce competition.With the continuous development of e-commerce,the potential risks expose gradually.In order to win this Internet-based finance battle,commercial banks must identify the various risks they face,and control the risks effectively.Starting from the background of commercial banks' developing e-commerce,and then analyzing the current situation,we find that commercial banks are facing the following risks while developing e-commerce platform: information disclosure risk,capital fraud risk,customer cheat risk,technology selection risk,and product launch risk.Next we learn from the case of ICBC “e-mall” e-commerce platform,and summarize some risk management strategies.Firstly,strengthen the internal management of e-commerce platform,including upgrading of internal control,maturing the staff training system,improving the risk management system.Secondly,strengthen external management e-commerce platform,including strengthening the management of outsourcing companies,improving the safety awareness of users,tightening up the management and access of users.Thirdly,strengthen the system construction,including the selection of appropriate development mode,increasing the investments into the electronic technology,enhancing the security of e-commerce system.Finally,adjust operation mode of e-commerce platform,including the establishing independent e-commerce institution,innovating the Internet thinking,promoting the transformation of the traditional commercial banks. |
