At present, as the globalization of management makes continuous progress and improvements, strategic management plays an increasingly important role in enterprises. To set up a performance appraisal system and methodology for enterprise strategy turns to be a major topic for each enterprise. BSC (balanced score card) which started in the 1990s provides the research orientation for enterprises' performance appraisal based on strategy and plays an important role in its practice.The thesis takes LT Real Estate Company as an example, and introduces the application of BSC in the company to provide reference for its performance management. Firstly, the thesis starts with the theoretical research on performance appraisal and BSC, and it studies the connotations and features of the theory to provide guidance for subsequent applied research. Next, the author makes field research on LT's performance appraisal and summarizes them, meanwhile, the author finds out the shortcomings and defects of current performance appraisal mode to make a deep analysis on their concrete forming causes. Then, the author draws the company's 2016 strategic blueprint with the combination of the internal and external strategic environment of LT and establishes the performance appraisal system by means of BSC. Afterwards, the author illustrates the concrete implementation details of LT's new performance appraisal from the aspects of concrete implementation procedures, assessment methods and safeguard measures. In the end, the author summarizes the research process of the thesis and draws the conclusion and inspiration.The thesis tries to apply BSC to the construction of real estate companies'performance appraisal system, for the purpose of helping enterprises achieve the 2016 strategic target to get rid of the current dilemma. The validity and inadequacy of this performance appraisal system need further verification and improvement, so I hope the system could provide reference and help for other similar enterprises to establish their performance appraisal.
