| As an important part in regional economy, industrial cluster play a irreplaceable role in local economy and quality of regional economy development. And as the core in industrial cluster, core enterprise act as the main driving forces in cluster competitiveness, cluster cohesion and cluster evolvement. In hence, focusing on the development of the core enterprise and creating good macroeconomic conditions of core enterprise are important to development of regional economy. Nowadays, construction machinery industry is facing a severe test in our country, also, the main engineering machinery industry cluster is in transformation and upgrading, so, the study of core enterprise has important practical significance.From the angle of view of the enterprise niche, based on the industrial cluster theory, core enterprises theory and the niche theory, this paper build and calculate the enterprises niche of core company in main industrial cluster in our country and reveal the inner connection between construction machinery industrial cluster and core enterprise through factor analysis and logistic regression by researching. The result shows that the enterprises niche of core company in main industrial cluster can be presented by two factor:enterprise scale and development capacity, furthermore, based on this result can build a evaluation index system of enterprise niche by nine factors. And through the logistic regression, the paper also find that the enterprises niche of core company have a significant positive impact on degree of specialization of industrial cluster, and the development capacity is first factor, the enterprise scale is the second factor.
