To response to the needs of market,maximum advantages of GT Company’s unique consistent quality controlling,reduce costs,shorten delivery cycles,and improve competitiveness of company’s products,GT Company built a new coating production line.In terms of overall project design,the production line of steel pipe coating is currently the world’s most advanced equipment and technology,but in practice,the production line has a lot of problems in production management that production efficiency has not met the design requirements,resulting in high production costs,and delivery cycle is too long,which impacts the company’s benefit and reputation seriously.Therefore,enhancement of the coating production line efficiency is imminent.With industrial engineering knowledge,this topic mainly analyzes current situation of GT Company’s new coating production line and low production efficiency,plans the implementation of the production line production efficiency improvement,and promotes it by focusing on the characteristic of information system development and improvement of the efficiency of personnel system.Through this study,with tools and methods of production efficiency improvement used in industrial engineering,an actual and effective information system and a suitable personnel training system of coating production line are developed,which provides information transformation and personnel efficiency ascension experience for the coating industry at home and abroad,lays a good foundation and theory support for the domestic industry to carry out on-site production efficiency improvement work,and achieves the production efficiency leap of coating industry.
