With the arrival of the new normal economy,China's economic growth rate slowed down significantly.Reform has entered the critical period and deep water. To make our country's economy by high speed to high speed smooth transition, the middle-income group is to promote the main force of economic development in our country,to play the role of a mainstay. However, due to the widening income gap in China has not been effectively alleviated the trend, the proportion of middle-income groups to further expand affected. In order to prevent the M-type social income distribution patterns which look like the "two big, middle small",the"expansion"of this major issue has long been caused by the government and the community wide attention. From the perspective of income distribution reform, expanding the proportion of middle-income groups is to form a reasonable and orderly income distribution system methods and objectives. In this paper,we use the kernel density estimation method to measure the proportion of middle-income group reasonably. We study and analyze the status and changes of the middle-income group, try to find out the factors affecting the change of the proportion of middle-income group by macroscopic and microcosmic combination, and put forward concrete and feasible Expanding the proportion of middle-income groups and conclusions. The paper consists of the following five parts:The first chapter is the preface, elaborated the topic selection background, the significance and the research mentality and so on content.Among them,In the part of literature review, the definition of middle income and the classification standard of middle-income group are emphatically clarified. The second chapter is about the descriptive statistics of income of urban and rural residents, the distribution of income of urban and rural residents as well as the income polarization and the proportion of urban and rural middle-income groups.Through the analysis,it is find that it is reasonable to divide the middle income group by 50%-125%of the median. This method is used to measure the proportion of middle-income groups in urban and rural areas. The third chapter analyzes macroscopically the factors that influence the proportion of middle-income groups in urban and rural areas. In the third chapter,we use the dynamic decomposition method to analyze the changes of the urban and rural middle-income groups. The effect of economic growth and income distribution is the main reason for the fluctuation of middle income group.Among them, economic growth is the main driving force for the expansion of the middle-income group, and the distribution of income to the group showed a certain degree of change in the blockThe fourth chapter uses the combination of micro-analysis and macro-decomposition to analyze the reasons and trends of the proportion of middle-income groups in China.Firstly, the CHNS micro data is used to establish the model by quantile regression to find out the influencing factors of middle-income groups' income in urban and rural areas.Secondly, through the dynamic decomposition method,we analyze the change of the proportion of the middle-income group under the microscopic features,so as to discuss the micro-characteristic factors influencing the urban-rural middle-income groups. The fifth chapter is the summary and prospect of this paper.Summarizes the research contents and puts forward the methods and suggestions to expand the middle-income group according to the corresponding conclusion.
