An Analysis Of The Factors Affecting The Income Gap Of Middle Income Families In China

Since the reform and opening up,China's rapid economic growth and rapid growth of residents' income,but the income gap between residents has expanded.In order to solve the problem of income gap,the eighteen proposed "high expansion,low" policy,"expansion" is to expand the middle-income groups,it has necessity and time,expanding middle-income groups can cross the middle income trap,can also promote faster and better development of economy,so as to solve the problem the income gap between the middle income group delay.At present,domestic scholars seldom studied,and the influence factors of the impact mechanism behind has not formed a complete system,taking family as the research object,the influence mechanism from the perspective of middle income groups income gap.In order to make a systematic understanding of the influencing factors of the income gap among middle-income families,this paper analyzes the influencing factors from macro and micro perspectives.In the macro aspect,we use the two models of linear regression and decomposition to explore the three aspects of economic growth and economic structure adjustment factors,government system factors and employment situation,and discuss the intensity and direction of their impact.In the micro aspect,the household income changes in urban and rural areas and regions and their influencing factors are investigated by M-M regression based on Quantile regression.Based on the CHNS data,the macro aspects that economic growth and economic structure adjustment to narrow the income gap between middle income families has played a certain role;the degree of market needs to be improved;the industry income gap is an important factor leading to middle income family income gap;the effective means of reducing the middle-income family income gap is to reduce unemployment.From the decomposition model of middle-income family income sources are mainly residual effect(heterogeneous group),followed by the mean effect(economic growth),the last is the variance effect(inequality);heterogeneous population,economic growth,income inequality causes high family differentiation,not for low-income families,but also that is a high income region in heterogeneous groups,due to the high income inequality of regional factors have prompted a large number of focus on the income range of middle-income families more dispersed.The microscopic aspect shows:for urban and rural low-income families,improve the family education,family population control,can effectively improve the household income for the urban and rural high-income families,work experience,enhance regional differences,the family population scale of their family income is not much affected;high income in urban and rural areas family income gap is larger than the middle and low income families.In eastern China,central and western middle income families,the education level has little effect on the eastern and middle income families to the middle and western middle income families significantly;of central and western middle income families to improve their family education can effectively improve the family income,improve the income of family members in high education the degree has little effect on the household income;the average age,work experience,family members of the small Eastern Central Western and middle income family income;urban and rural low-income families of different eastern influence,has little effect on the high income families in urban and rural areas of central and western is different in low-income families,the greater the the impact of the central high income families;for the eastern central and Western low-income families can effectively improve the control population High household income and the size of the middle and high income families have little influence on their family income;the income gap between middle and high income families in the East,middle and West is greater than that of middle and low-income families.
